Bryan Alexander for Pleasant Valley School Board 2018

I am a parent of 3 and have been a Community Member of the City of Camarillo for 13 years. My wife, Jennifer, and I made the move to Camarillo because of the great reputation their schools have. My oldest daughter just promoted from the 8th grade from PVSD. She started her education as a pre-schooler at Dos Caminos. My 2nd child will start 1st grade in the fall. My youngest just started attending the program at PEEP. Part of my involvement and dedication to PVSD included substituting in my free time in any area needed, including: campus supervisor, custodian, delivery driver, food service worker, and instructional aide for special education. 

I was formerly the Safety Specialist/Inspector for the Ventura County Schools Self Funding Authority for 5 years. This experience then allowed me to help out with the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo. I assisted with their Safety Task Force. 

I was a Certified Playground Inspector and a Certified Safety Management Specialist. My goal for PVSD is to make schools a safe and an inviting place for not only the children, but also for the parents, employees and the community. I would like to see more life skills classes and continue to see technology move forward.
